Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process inspections of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and components in accordance with your FAA inspection authority.
  • Verify compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, engineering requirements, and company quality standards.
  • Identify and document discrepancies, defects, or non-conformances that may affect airworthiness.
  • Ensure work performed meets established inspection criteria before advancing to the next stage of production or maintenance.
  • Review maintenance and inspection documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with technicians, mechanics, engineering, and quality teams to resolve inspection findings.
  • Support audit readiness by following established inspection processes and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records while adhering to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout daily operations.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Typically two (2) or more years of relevant aircraft inspection or aviation experience.
  • An Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe (A), Powerplant (P), or Repairman Certificate.
  • Experience inspecting aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and components.
  • A basic understanding of aviation audit and inspection processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • A strong attention to detail with excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • The ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Qualifications
