About the role

BAE Systems Intelligence & Security division is seeking an Air Systems Analyst to join our team in Quantico, VA in support of a Maritime effort for the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) Analysis, Geospatial Imagery, and Counterintelligence Support Services program. The candidate will provide direct support to MCIA to deliver situational awareness, intelligence production, and analysis for numerous Areas of Responsibility (AORs).

You will conduct analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature. The role includes providing all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support research and intelligence gathering; assist with categorizing and prioritizing threats in the radio frequency (RF) spectrum to inform the development of electronic countermeasures.
  • Conduct All-Source intelligence analysis of foreign Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Counter-UAS (CUAS) technologies, capabilities, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and operational employment patterns.
  • Conduct All-Source intelligence analysis of foreign Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (RCIEDs), Counter-RCIEDs (C-RCIEDs) technologies, capabilities, TTPs, and operational employment patterns.
  • Facilitate threat load development through the ingestion, evaluation, and prioritization of RF threat intelligence, specifically determining threat frequencies and regional proliferation metrics.
  • Coordinate with the Program Office to deliver prioritized threat lists, frequency analyses, and intelligence-derived technical parameters necessary to task Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane for software threat load development and system integration.
  • Maintain technical knowledge and analytical proficiency regarding UAS/CUAS and RCIED/C-RCIED systems, with particular emphasis on radio frequency (RF) links, guidance mechanisms, physical payloads, and signature profiles.

Requirements

  • At least 12 years of relevant experience, with a portion of that experience being within the last 2 years.
  • Master’s degree in an area related to the field of work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-INT expertise.
  • Excellent research, writing, and briefing skills for customer senior leadership in an intelligence environment supporting critical operations.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $118,095 – $200,762. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
