Job Summary

The Air & Reference Assembler I is responsible for processing various reference sensors, air detectors, and non-sensing devices for both core and OEM analyzers. Working under general supervision, this role performs routine assembly operations while maintaining the highest quality standards and meeting manufacturing schedules. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and committed to producing high-quality assemblies efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Process reference sensors, air detectors, and non-sensing devices for core and OEM analyzers.
  • Work with various epoxies, solvents, and chemicals during assembly operations.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the assembly process to ensure high product yields.
  • Operate a variety of production equipment including automatic dispensing equipment, UV adhesive systems, ultrasonic welders, laser coders, soldering irons, and leak testers.
  • Follow assembly procedures, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and related manufacturing documentation.
  • Produce high-quality assemblies while meeting established production schedules.
  • Collaborate effectively with manufacturing, engineering, and management teams.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable quality and manufacturing procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and other manufacturing activities as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or Trade School diploma required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience building small assemblies.
  • Experience working with epoxies and related assembly materials.
  • Experience using small hand tools.
  • Good math skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to [25–50] pounds as required.
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, or climb as needed.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., noise, temperature, equipment).
  • Ability to operate tools, machinery, or technical equipment.
  • Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required.

Pay

Targeted Salary Range: $24-$26/hr
