Air Quality Staff Consultant
About the role
As an Air Quality Staff Consultant in our St. Charles, MO office, you will work with a fun and engaging team of professionals to evaluate and present information regarding atmospheric emissions from proposed processes and equipment in support of state and federal permit applications.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering calculations
- Compile permit application documents
- Meet and coordinate with clients to obtain and understand project information
- Communicate with agency personnel
- Evaluate control technologies for client facilities
Requirements
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related field
- 0+ years' consulting, compliance, or industry experience
- Must be legally authorized to work for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in the U.S. without sponsorship
Qualifications
- Previous internship is a plus
- Experience with atmospheric emission inventory calculations, air permit application preparation, and pollution control technologies is a plus
- Knowledge of New Source Review procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with air compliance needs of the natural gas, manufacturing, or power industries is a plus
- Dispersion modeling experience using AERMOD is a plus
