Air Quality Staff Consultant

About the role

As an Air Quality Staff Consultant in our St. Charles, MO office, you will work with a fun and engaging team of professionals to evaluate and present information regarding atmospheric emissions from proposed processes and equipment in support of state and federal permit applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations
• Compile permit application documents
• Meet and coordinate with clients to obtain and understand project information
• Communicate with agency personnel
• Evaluate control technologies for client facilities

Requirements

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related field
• 0+ years' consulting, compliance, or industry experience
• Must be legally authorized to work for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in the U.S. without sponsorship

Qualifications

• Previous internship is a plus
• Experience with atmospheric emission inventory calculations, air permit application preparation, and pollution control technologies is a plus
• Knowledge of New Source Review procedures is a plus
• Familiarity with air compliance needs of the natural gas, manufacturing, or power industries is a plus
• Dispersion modeling experience using AERMOD is a plus
