Air Operations Clerk in Dallas, TX

About the Role

A well-established logistics and transportation company is seeking an Air Operations Clerk for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity in Grapevine, TX, in the Dallas area. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented candidate who wants to build a long-term career in air freight, logistics, shipping, import/export administration, or transportation operations. Training is provided for air freight documentation, systems, terminology, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain shipment information accurately in company systems.
• Prepare, scan, organize, and file shipping documents such as air waybills, packing lists, commercial invoices, customs paperwork, and carrier records.
• Assist with shipment tracking, status updates, and routine communication with internal operations team members.
• Support invoice matching and shipment file review to help ensure billing and documentation accuracy.
• Help coordinate pickup and delivery details with truckers and carriers under supervision.
• Perform general administrative support duties, including answering routine calls, responding to emails, copying documents, and organizing records.

Requirements

Candidates with experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, or general office administration are encouraged to apply. Previous air freight or freight forwarding experience is not required.

Pay

$36,000 to $46,000 per year, depending on experience.
