Air Export Gateway Operations Specialist

The Role

The Air Export Logistics Gateway Operations Specialist plays a key role in the transportation of goods, optimizing processes, and fulfilling customer promises. This role involves processing MAWB consolidations, setting trade-lanes, and managing the ATA process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, handle, and process documentation needed for air export consolidations
• Interact and collaborate closely with the air export departments in the region
• Arrange bookings with carriers; optimize cargo consolidations
• Ensure timely processing and delivery to the airport; constant communication with the warehouse team and truck dispatch during the consolidation process
• Track & trace shipments; monitor vendor performance; address and resolve service irregularities
• Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal customers
• Maintain compliance standards at all times, including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirements
• Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) to support department, branch, product, and company goals
• Daily update and monitor reporting tools
• Support pricing team on rate quotes
• Support the team in identifying areas of improved efficiency
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma combined with experience
• 2-5 years Air logistics, freight forwarding experience preferred
• Vocational school or etc. preferred
• Professional certification preferred

Benefits

Pay

The target base salary range for this position is between $55k and $62k. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles.
