About the Role
OCEANAIR is looking for an Air Export Agent to join our Pharmaceuticals division in Chelsea, MA. In this role, you will help coordinate international air export shipments from start to finish. You will prepare documentation, communicate with clients and carriers, support compliance requirements, and help make sure shipments move accurately and on time. This is a full-time, non-exempt role that is 100% in office.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate export shipments from booking through billing, including documentation, data entry, and file updates in CargoWise.
- Support shipment compliance, including hazardous materials when applicable, and help ensure required releases and approvals are completed.
- Prepare and review air waybills, export filings, commercial invoices, and other shipping documents for accuracy.
- Communicate clearly with clients, carriers, agents, and internal team members to coordinate pickups and resolve shipment issues.
- Look for practical, cost-conscious solutions while maintaining strong service and compliance standards.
- Follow up on questions or concerns quickly and help create a smooth, reliable customer experience.

- Occasional weekend or holiday work may be required based on department rotation.
