Air Export Agent

About the role

As an Air Export Agent, you will be responsible for the movement of our customer’s air export shipments. You will serve as the main point of contact for coordination between customer shipment exports, customs brokers, and shipping carriers.

Responsibilities

• Complete coordination between all applicable parties for air export shipments to ensure timely bookings with airlines on the customer’s behalf.
• Prepare export documentation, including entry into Logis Air, in accordance with country requirements, and prepare documents such as Certificate of Origin, Cargo Manifest, NAFTA Certificate, Airway Bill, and any other customer-required documents.
• File AES (Automated Electronic System) export customs compliantly.
• Communicate regularly with customers regarding shipment status and with overseas teams to meet delivery commitments; follow up with airlines to monitor and track departure and arrival information.
• Ensure invoicing of rendered services is completed accurately and within company policy timeframes.
• Maintain accurate and updated customer profiles.
• Meet all KPIs assigned and audited by the Control Tower.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Air Freight industry experience preferred.
• Cargo Wise systems knowledge is a plus.
• Must have at least 6 months to 1 year of Air Freight experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Pay

$21.32 – $28.43 per hour (based on experience).
