Air Cooled Chiller Technician

About the role

Comfort Systems USA Shoffner is seeking a Commercial Chiller Technician to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial chiller systems and related mechanical equipment. This role focuses primarily on air-cooled chillers.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial chiller systems and related mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair air-cooled chiller equipment in commercial environments.
• Experience troubleshooting refrigeration circuits, electrical components, controls, compressors, fans, sensors, and related chiller components.
• Maintain a clean driving record.

Requirements

• Commercial chiller service experience.
• Hands-on experience with air-cooled chillers (preferred).
• EPA Certification required.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 60 lbs, climb ladders, reach above shoulders, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Available for on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record.

Skills

• Commercial chiller service experience.
• Hands-on experience with air-cooled chillers (preferred).
• EPA Certification.

Pay

$35+ per hour, depending on experience, with performance-based increases and bonuses.
