About the role
The primary responsibility is to promote, sell, and rent air compressor products and accessories. The territory will be defined by an agreement between the A/C Sales Business Manager and the Sales Representative. Additionally, the role involves maintaining and growing the parts and service business, collaborating with the Air Compressor Service Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Makes regular sales, rental, and service calls to existing customers including engineers, mechanical contractors, general contractors, utilities, manufacturing plants, and other compressor users.
- Performs regular "cold calls" to expand the customer base.
- Maintains a 30-day schedule to optimize time and territory management.
- Inputs all active rental, sale, and parts/service quotes into the CRM for tracking and categorizes them as won, lost, or dead.
- Promotes Ring Power's various divisions and products, forwarding leads to the appropriate contacts.
- Conducts a competitive analysis of competitors, identifying their strengths and weaknesses.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Formal education: Associate Degree or certification equivalent in a related field of study.
- Experience: 3-4 years required.
- Credentials: Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
- Outside rental or sales experience: Not required but highly desired.
- Knowledge of the air compressor industry: Desirable.
- Knowledge of Office 365, especially with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint: Desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude: Desirable.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills: Desirable.
- Updating of Knowledge: Requires re-training once or more per year.
