Air Compliance Permitting Specialist

General Responsibilities

Terracon is seeking an experienced Air Compliance Permitting Specialist to join our Team in Little Rock. You will lead and grow our environmental compliance practice in Little Rock, with reach extending regionally and nationally. You'll own client relationships, mentor environmental professionals, and drive the strategic direction of our air permitting sector across oil & gas, manufacturing, power generation, data centers, and industrial markets. Day-to-day, you'll lead compliance efforts, prepare proposals and cost estimates, review deliverables for quality, and champion marketing initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred), Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or environmental-related discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in a full-time regulatory compliance consulting role
• Demonstrated a high level of technical writing ability
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
• 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-Hr refresher preferred
