Air Cargo Warehouse Agent - BOS

Responsibilities

• Moving air cargo within designated warehouse.
• Loading and unloading cargo from pallets and containers.
• Building up cargo for outbound flights.
• Breaking down cargo from import flights.
• Facilitating the loading and unloading of cargo to and from semitrucks.
• Operating basic cargo handling equipment such as forklift, aircraft pallets, and pallet jacks.
• Checking freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions, and documents as appropriate.
• Confirming Dangerous Goods (DG) have been checked within aircraft limits and following specific procedures for DG shipments.
• Able to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without assistance of sight or visual aids.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to work in all types of weather and environmental conditions, including jet engine fumes, vehicle emissions, dust, and jet engine noise.
• Ability to distinguish colors, red, green, and yellow.
