Responsibilities

• Accompany individuals in daily living activities
• Measure patient/resident vital signs, monitor medical devices and equipment, and transmit information to the nurse
• Identify changes in the patient's condition
• Provide body hygiene, comfort, and preventive care
• Monitor the general condition of the patient/resident, administer medications, and inform the nurse of any abnormal signs or risks (e.g., falls, bedsores)
