Aide/Attendant

Aide/Attendant Responsibilities

• Properly cleans isolation rooms, MRSA rooms, radiation rooms, treatment rooms, morgue, patient areas and core areas in accordance with existing policy and procedure.
• Diligently removes trash from all areas and transports to storage location in a timely and organized manner.
• Properly clean and replenish supply of soap, paper towels and tissue in bathrooms in the areas assigned by department leadership.
• Professionally conduct housekeeping duties including but not limited to, making beds, washing walls, dusting and polishing furniture.
• Properly cleans and maintains floors and carpets using a variety of tools and equipment. This may require furniture to be moved.

Aide/Attendant Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• Previous experience waxing and applying topcoat to a variety of floor surfaces preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills.
