About the role

We're looking for experienced US-based recruiters who enjoy writing to create detailed, honest accounts of long-term recruitment processes. This is a short-term, freelance project with the potential for future paid opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Choose a single, recurring, critical recruitment task (e.g., sourcing for a hard-to-fill role, running a full-cycle search, building a talent mapping report, or managing a high-volume requisition).
• Write a thorough, first-person account of the process from start to finish, including steps, tools, decision points, and edge cases.
• Produce an outline typically ranging from 5 to 25 pages, depending on complexity.
• Complete a short, paid writing assessment ($9/hour) before starting the project.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a similar field.
• A genuine interest in writing, whether through academic work, blogging, journaling, freelance projects, or thoughtful communication.
• A preference for depth and clarity over brevity, with the ability to explain processes in detail.
• Reliability to complete assigned tasks once matched to a project.
