AI Trainer - Fluent Nepali Speakers - US

About the role

Prolific is building the biggest pool of quality human data in the world. They are seeking fluent Nepali speakers to act as evaluators, completing side‑by‑side evaluations of AI‑generated text to assess how naturally and authentically the AI captures written Nepali.

Responsibilities

• Side‑by‑side evaluation: compare text snippets to assess quality and authenticity.
• Naturalness assessment: read AI‑generated text and rate how natural the writing sounds.
• Quality control: identify where the AI's tone or phrasing feels unnatural or culturally mismatched.
• Contextual review: ensure word choice and register match the cultural context of the writing.
• Data tagging: provide feedback on the naturalness, tone, and authenticity of the text.

Requirements

• Fluent Nepali speaker with a strong command of everyday written and spoken Nepali.
• Ability to distinguish subtle differences in tone, register, and word choice.
• Fluent English skills for instruction following and reporting.
• High attention to detail; backgrounds in linguistics or translation are a plus.
• Access to a computer and a quiet environment for focused reading and writing tasks.
• PayPal account to receive payment.

Pay

Researchers typically pay between $20 – $26 per hour. Tasks are posted individually with time estimates and pay disclosed before you decide to take them.
