AI Studio Coach

About the role

AI Studio Coaches are part technical mentor, part project manager, and part educator. They support undergraduate teams as they work on industry-sponsored AI and machine learning projects, providing guidance on technical problem-solving, project execution, teamwork, and professional growth. Coaches work with approximately 40–60 students across 8–10 teams and play a key role in helping Fellows successfully deliver real-world AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to undergraduate teams working on AI and machine learning projects.
• Help teams execute their projects effectively, ensuring they meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Facilitate teamwork among students, enhancing collaboration and communication skills.
• Support Fellows in their professional development, helping them grow both technically and personally.

Requirements

• Strong background in computer science or related field.
• Experience with AI and machine learning technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience mentoring or teaching others.

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-experts.
