AI Solution Developer

ECS is seeking an AI Solution Developer to work in our Arlington, VA (hybrid) office.

About the role

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Solutions Developer to join our team. This role will entail working closely with the client to understand needs and pain points, and designing, configuring, and implementing technical solutions across a range of programming languages, cloud platforms, and supporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Find intelligent ways to solve problems without a lot of repeat work
• Leverage expertise to advise and create solutions that are simple, secure, and maintainable
• Build, maintain, and update automation code and/or scripts
• Support Linux and Windows environments
• Design and implement continuous integration and delivery automation in support of software, configuration, and infrastructure management
• Develop microservices and applications
• Find opportunities to use data and metrics to inform decisions and create changes to improve the environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline, or associate degree with equivalent years of experience
• At least 5 years of professional experience delivering solutions using:
  • Cloud-Based Services
  • Software Development
  • Data Management and Insights
• Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security Clearance

Skills

• Understanding of Git and how to use it
• Familiarity working in Agile/SCRUM Development environments
• Experience with Python both as a scripting language and to build structured services with API-based integration
• Has built solutions which use open-source and custom models, LLMs, graph, and other data patterns to provide users with valuable derived information
• Understands practical application and use of AI coding assistants in software development workflow
• Understanding of Linux internals & core system services (DNS, SMTP, Syslog, IPTables, etc.)
• Experience with bash and/or PowerShell
• Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud Environments
• Experience with containerization and microservice architectures

Pay

Salary Range: $140,000–$200,000
