AI Prompt Engineer

About the role

The AI Prompt Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing prompt engineering techniques to improve the quality and safety of large language models (LLM) and reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF).

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate prompt engineering strategies for LLMs and RLHF systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prompt evaluation tools and content safety labeling processes.
• Optimize LLM training pipelines and ensure compliance with ethical guidelines.
• Use natural language processing (NLP) techniques to enhance model performance and user experience.
• Implement and test new tools and methods for automated and semi-automated content moderation.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates to ensure prompt engineering practices align with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, or related fields.
• Experience with reinforcement learning and human-in-the-loop (HITL) methodologies.
• Strong understanding of NLP and content safety principles.
• Proficiency in Python and other relevant programming languages.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with large language model (LLM) training and deployment.
• Knowledge of ethical considerations in AI development and deployment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
