Seeking an AI Program Director to lead the organization's enterprise AI strategy, governance framework, adoption initiatives, and AI-enabled business transformation efforts. This individual will serve as the central leader responsible for ensuring AI investments are aligned with organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, and measurable business outcomes. The role will bridge executive leadership, clinical operations, security, analytics, technology, and vendor partners to identify, evaluate, deploy, govern, and optimize AI capabilities across the enterprise.

About the role

The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership with hands-on program execution and possesses a strong understanding of AI governance, change management, risk management, business transformation, and healthcare operations. This is a highly visible role that will help shape the long-term AI vision while establishing the processes, controls, and organizational capabilities necessary for responsible AI adoption.

Fully remote opportunity. Must reside in the following states: Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Remote work will not be permitted from any other state at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the organization's enterprise AI strategy, governance framework, and adoption initiatives.
  • Ensure AI investments align with organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Bridge executive leadership, clinical operations, security, analytics, technology, and vendor partners to identify, evaluate, deploy, govern, and optimize AI capabilities.
  • Shape long-term AI vision and establish processes, controls, and organizational capabilities for responsible AI adoption.

Requirements

  • Strategic leadership combined with hands-on program execution.
  • Strong understanding of AI governance, change management, risk management, business transformation, and healthcare operations.
  • Healthcare provider experience strongly preferred.
  • Must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, or Virginia.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $105.00/hr.

This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, MO. The position is fully remote.
