About the role
This person builds and runs the operational infrastructure that allows the AI Strategy function to manage a growing portfolio.
First 60-Day Deliverables
- Intake framework: a structured process and submission template through which business units bring AI use case ideas to the AI Strategy team, requiring less than 30 minutes for a functional leader to complete, with minimum fields including problem statement, business owner, estimated value, data availability, ORM risk classification triggers, and alignment to the AI roadmap.
- Use case inventory: a live, centralized registry of every AI initiative currently in flight, in backlog, or under consideration at OCC, which is current, complete, and consistently structured.
- Prioritization framework: the scoring model the AI Strategy team uses to rank use cases, considering strategic alignment, value potential, feasibility, time to value, and risk tier, and is transparent and defensible.
- E2E lifecycle governance: a documented process for how a use case moves from intake through ORM risk classification, Working Group approval, delivery, and into adoption, with defined SLAs at each stage and documented escalation protocols.
Ongoing Responsibilities
- Portfolio health tracking across all active initiatives: status, dependencies, risks, and decisions needed.
- Operating rhythm for the AI Strategy team: cadence of reviews, Working Group preparation, and cross-functional coordination.
- Resource coordination between AI Strategy, ORM, and the CTO's engineering teams to ensure initiatives are sequenced against actual capacity.
Qualifications
Senior program or delivery manager with 8+ years of experience, having built intake, inventory, and prioritization frameworks as deployed operational tools, and holding a PMP or equivalent certification. Financial services or regulated environment experience is strongly preferred, with a background in managing cross-functional technology delivery programs.
