AI Product Manager

About the role

Scale is a leading AI data foundry dedicated to advancing AI through frontier model training, enterprise adoption, defense applications, and autonomous vehicles. We are seeking an AI Product Manager to lead the Agent & Reinforcement Learning Environments data vertical, focusing on Computer Using Agent (CUA) data. This role involves overseeing the product roadmap, managing data pipelines, and collaborating with research teams to develop and refine RL environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for the Agent & RL Environment Data vertical, setting product direction and driving execution across engineering, operations, and go-to-market teams.
• Build technical partnerships with research teams at leading AI labs, identifying insights that shape new product lines and competitive strategies for your vertical.
• Design, experiment with, and deliver high-quality data pipelines, tooling, and evaluation frameworks that advance RL and agentic model capabilities.
• Scope out and scale the creation of RL environments that simulate real-world use cases.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, influencing business priorities and diving into the weeds of research, operations, and customer interactions.

Requirements

• A strong entrepreneurial and go-to-market mindset, combined with technical depth in software engineering and understanding of reinforcement learning, simulation environments, or data pipelines for model training and evaluation.
• A bias for action and comfort with multiple hats and fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in product management or a customer-facing role.
• Technical fluency, including a degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer intuition and the ability to translate technical requirements into impactful product decisions.

Skills

• Strategic thinking and the ability to influence both internal and external roadmaps.
• Experience in building and managing technical partnerships with research teams.
• Expertise in designing and delivering high-quality data pipelines, tooling, and evaluation frameworks.
• Ability to scope out and scale the creation of RL environments that simulate real-world use cases.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to wear multiple hats in fast-moving environments.

Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits.
