Role Summary

The AI Process Intelligence Specialist is a hands‑on role on Locke’s Business Excellence team, based at the Houston Plant with up to 20 % travel. The specialist uses AI, system data, documents, transcripts, and other existing evidence to draft process maps before involving employees, allowing staff to validate and correct the draft rather than start from scratch. This role accelerates process discovery, making it faster, smarter, and more scalable, and enables leaders to quickly identify process owners and supporting systems.

Key Results

  • Process Mapping & AI‑First Discovery: Draft processes from existing evidence before meetings, then run short validation sessions where employees check the draft. Build and maintain end‑to‑end process maps, linking each process to its owner, systems, and KPIs. Achieve 90 %+ AI‑first discovery accuracy, with 80 %+ of AI drafts requiring only minor fixes.
  • AI‑Driven Diagnosis & Opportunity Pipeline: Use AI to diagnose bottlenecks and gaps, flag automation and AI opportunities, and route them to the appropriate owner, maintaining a live opportunity pipeline. Maintain roughly 80 % process‑map coverage of priority processes in Year 1, with 95 %+ of processes assigned a named owner.
  • Documentation & Process Governance: Keep process documentation current and answer process questions as they arise. Ensure leaders can find who owns a process, what system runs it, and where gaps and wins exist without needing to ask the specialist directly.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in process management, continuous improvement, or a similar role.
  • Comfortable with AI tools, prompt engineering, and interpreting messy evidence.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Titan/Titan3000 sufficient to pull evidence rather than configure the systems.
  • Ability to distinguish confirmed findings from guesses.
  • Based at the Houston Plant with up to 20 % travel.
