Responsibilities
- Act as the Single Threaded Leader (STL) for AI transformation initiatives for the OPM role, owning end-to-end program management from scoping and planning through execution and scaled deployment
- Accountable for end-to-end manufacturing operations integration with AI tools, driving supplier readiness activities and executing development builds leading up to ramp and mass production
- Establish the appropriate engagement model and define roles and responsibilities between internal cross-functional teams (Engineering, Sourcing, Quality) and external manufacturing partners
- Use knowledge of AI/ML technologies and operational data to influence key design, architecture, and process decisions to meet Operations KPIs
- Audit, analyze, consolidate, and communicate risk and status clearly and succinctly to management, presenting options for resolution to the cross-functional executive team through new product reviews
- Champion continuous improvement by demonstrating the ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Partner with leadership to design end-to-end workflows that integrate AI agents and automated orchestration, managing the transition from NTI to NPI
- Manage program health including backlogs, sprint adherence, risk mitigation, resource allocation, and escalation management across multiple functional teams
- Produce clear program artifacts — charters, roadmaps, status reports, and decision documents — that present options, tradeoffs, and risks to facilitate executive decision-making
- Transition successful pilots into repeatable playbooks and hand over ongoing governance to PMO/Operations and functional owners
Qualifications
- Data-driven problem solving skills to address multi-dimensional problems with high levels of uncertainty across multiple functional teams
- Experience in digital transformation in complex hardware, consumer electronics, or semiconductor environments
- Operational and program management background in manufacturing, supply chain, or product development, including managing supplier technical operations
- Experience communicating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, collaborators, and clients at different levels, including influencing cross-functional executives
- Experience driving AI programs from concept through scaled deployment, with measurable operational outcomes and successful transition into the NPI phase
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
