AI/ML Engineer-Operations (Level 3)

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, AI/ML or related field
• Proficiency in Python and foundational machine learning concepts, with the ability to independently develop, train, and evaluate models
• Experience in developing, training, and deploying deep learning models using machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Demonstrated expertise in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and performance validation of AI models
• Understanding of agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)

The Aero Operations AI Team at Lockheed Martin Aerospace is seeking a senior data scientist analyst who will play a key role in developing, deploying, and maintaining AI-based solutions tailored for production operations. • Experience with agentic AI frameworks
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data catalog tools
• Experience with aircraft manufacturing processes
• Strong organization and communication skills
