AI Logistics Subject Matter Expert (Military Operations & Class VIII)

Military Background

Service: U.S. military officer (Company Grade Officer O-3 or higher) with at least 5 years managing logistics planning.

Staff Experience: G-4 (Division/Corps) or J-4 (Joint Staff) with oversight of Class VIII (Medical Materiel) supply chains.

Service-Specific Credentials

• U.S. Army AOC 70H, 70K, 70K with 9I, or 90A;
• U.S. Navy Designator 1805 or 2300 with AQD 6FM;
• U.S. Marine Corps 0402 or 3002;

Technical Mindset

Interest in AI/ML and national security.

Work Schedule

Normal business hours (8:30am-5:00pm) Monday-Friday, occasional after-hours.

Qualifications

• Data Engineering & Auditing: Review, critique, and author high-quality text datasets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Machine Learning engineers on model comparison and RLHF.
• Workflow Optimization: Refine data pipelines with operations team.
• Mentorship: Train junior AI writing specialists.

Responsibilities

Develop fine-tuned LLMs for government customers; review and write analyses of doctrinal, operational, and strategic documents to train AI models.
