AI Leadership Lab Volunteer

Description

Play Like a Girl is launching the AI Leadership Lab, a free virtual program for rising 8th and 9th grade girls. Across three sessions, girls work in small mentor-led teams to explore how AI is shaping the world, design an AI-powered solution to a real problem, and present their work at a live showcase. Every girl who completes the program leaves with increased confidence in STEM, real exposure to career pathways in AI and technology, and a connection to women professionals who look like her and believe in what she is capable of.

Responsibilities

• Support your team's Mentor Lead during every session and between-session meeting
• Contribute to team huddles
• Help girls develop their challenge project
• Step in as Team Lead if needed
• Bring your professional perspective and your presence

Qualifications

• Bring your professional perspective and your presence
• Time commitment: 3 sessions of 90 minutes each, 2 between-session team meetings, and one orientation call
• All virtual via Zoom
