AI Language Expert - Korean

About the role

We're looking for Korean language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems built for Korean language learning and instruction. Your linguistic insight and teaching background will directly shape how AI understands, assesses, and communicates in Korean — making a real impact on learners around the world.

Organization: Alignerr | Type: Hourly Contract | Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated Korean speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality
• Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+
• Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment
• Provide clear, structured feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts
• Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI Korean language instruction

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Korean
• Experience teaching Korean or evaluating learner language
• Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)
• Familiar with learner speech patterns and CEFR frameworks
• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment

Skills

• Experience with language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing
• Exposure to AI-powered language tools or educational technology
• Comfort working independently in structured, asynchronous workflows
