AI Infrastructure / HPC Pre-Sales Architect | Networking & Data Center (REMOTE)

We are partnering with a growing technology company that builds infrastructure solutions for large-scale AI and high-performance computing (HPC) environments. We are seeking an experienced AI Infrastructure / HPC Pre-Sales Architect for a customer-facing technical role. The ideal candidate will combine deep networking and data center expertise with exposure to GPU clusters, AI/HPC infrastructure, high-performance Ethernet, InfiniBand, or NVIDIA-based architectures. This role focuses on the underlying infrastructure that enables large-scale AI environments, not AI/ML software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical advisor to customers designing and deploying AI/HPC and GPU infrastructure.
• Lead technical discovery to understand customer workloads, existing infrastructure, scalability requirements, and business objectives.
• Architect solutions across networking, data center, GPU compute, and supporting infrastructure.
• Design high-performance data center networking environments supporting AI and GPU workloads.
• Work with technologies including Ethernet, EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, RoCE/RDMA, InfiniBand, and modern leaf-spine architectures.
• Help customers evaluate and design infrastructure around NVIDIA and other emerging AI technology ecosystems.
• Translate complex infrastructure requirements into clear architectures and technical recommendations.
• Lead customer workshops, technical presentations, whiteboarding sessions, solution demonstrations, and proof-of-concept activities.
• Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Product, and Professional Services throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership during complex enterprise sales cycles and help identify and remove technical roadblocks.
• Stay current on rapidly evolving AI infrastructure, GPU, networking, automation, and data center technologies.

Requirements

• Strong background in Pre-Sales / Solutions Architecture within networking, data center, cloud infrastructure, HPC, or enterprise infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of modern data center networking and architectures.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies, including BGP and EVPN/VXLAN.
• Experience with leading enterprise and data center networking platforms.
• Exposure to AI/HPC infrastructure, GPU clusters, NVIDIA DGX/HGX, InfiniBand, RoCE/RDMA, or other high-performance networking technologies is highly desirable.
• Ability to understand complex technical environments and translate customer requirements into scalable solution architectures.
• Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and whiteboarding skills.
• Comfortable working with both deeply technical engineering teams and executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience working within a VAR, systems integrator, infrastructure vendor, cloud provider, or emerging technology company is highly relevant.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCIE, JNCIE, NVIDIA, or other advanced networking/infrastructure certifications.
• Experience designing infrastructure supporting large-scale AI/ML or HPC workloads.
• Understanding of GPU-to-GPU and GPU-to-storage networking requirements.
• Experience with high-performance Ethernet and/or InfiniBand environments.
• Knowledge of network automation and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, or APIs.
• Experience designing or supporting large-scale data center environments.
