AI Implementation Intern

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking AI Implementation Intern to support the application of artificial intelligence across our business and operations processes.

This on-site role in our Maple Grove office provides hands-on exposure to how AI is evaluated, implemented, and scaled within an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the identification, evaluation, and implementation of AI use cases across business and operational functions, including:
• Marketing and Sales
• Operations and Supply Chain
• Quality and Compliance
• Finance and Business Analytics
• Administrative and support processes
• Work onsite in the Maple Grove office with cross-functional stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for AI-driven improvement
• Aid with AI-enabled initiatives such as:
• Process automation and workflow optimization
• Data analysis, reporting, and performance dashboards
• Content and document generation for internal and external use
• Operational, quality, financial, customer, or supplier insights
• Partner with Quality and Finance teams to ensure AI outputs support accuracy, traceability, compliance, and sound decision-making
• Research AI tools, platforms, and practical use cases relevant to manufacturing and business operations
• Help test, validate, and refine AI outputs to ensure data integrity, usability, and alignment with business needs
• Document AI use cases, processes, and lessons learned to support broader organizational adoption
• Support change-management efforts by helping develop training materials, guidelines, or internal communications related to AI tools
• Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to project leaders and senior stakeholders

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in an on-site, cross-functional environment
• Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting
