AI Governance Platform and Automations Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a AI Governance Platform and Automations Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will help shape and operationalize enterprise AI governance capabilities across the organization. You will design scalable integrations, automate governance workflows, and turn Responsible AI policies into practical controls that support secure, compliant, and efficient technology adoption. The position also partners closely with platform vendors and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen metrics, reporting, and enablement across the business. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $107,500 – $204,500 annually Responsibilities Configure and maintain enterprise AI governance capabilities Design scalable integrations between governance capabilities and core systems Enable governance metrics, analytics, and reporting processes Translate Responsible AI policies into operational controls Develop enablement materials and provide training support Coordinate with platform vendors for configuration and capability guidance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field plus 8 years of experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience Proficient in architecting integrations and automating governance processes Hands-on experience with governance workflow design Strong data skills including metrics design and automated reporting Knowledge of Responsible AI frameworks and regulatory trends Ability to manage moderately sized projects with minimal oversight and coach junior staff Excellent communication skills to collaborate across various departments Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and short/long-term disability coverage 401(k) match and flexible spending accounts Flexible work schedules and paid time off Employee assistance program and Employee Scholar Program Parental leave and holidays Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
