AI Engineer-W2 only

About the role

This is a remote position, with some travel occasionally needed to New Mexico (client pays expenses). We are seeking an Agentic AI expert to analyze tickets and identify opportunities to automate ticket resolution with AI agents, while also building automations and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Own delivery across multiple build workstreams: scope, estimate, sequence, and ship
• Be accountable for delivery quality, timelines, and utilization/margin on your pod
• Own the build roadmap with client stakeholders; shape what gets built and in what order
• Make build-vs-buy-vs-automate trade-offs that protect the engagement economics
• Own the paved road golden-path deployment, CI/CD, secrets, tool-use governance so builders stay productive
• Set and enforce engineering standards, security, and quality across the pod
• Manage and develop a pod of ~4-8 people; coaching, performance, and delivery
• Be a trusted technical partner to client leaders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• 9+ years in software/automation engineering, with 2+ leading teams or significant technical delivery
• Demonstrated ability to architect agentic/automation solutions and to manage the engineers who build them
• Experience owning delivery commitments in consulting, managed services, or client delivery
• Commercial awareness: estimation, utilization, and scope management
