AI Engineer III

Key Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to improve patient care, healthcare operations, and financial performance.
• Develop and deploy LLM-based Agentic AI and automation solutions using RAG or fine-tuning foundation models.
• Conduct rigorous model evaluation, including performance testing and bias assessment, to ensure ethical and reliable deployment.
• Mentor junior team members on AI/ML techniques, model development, and deployment best practices.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to integrate ML models or GenAI solutions with organizational systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• General Experience: 8+ years in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence tools and technologies.
• Programming: 5+ years in Python or R, and SQL.
• Role Experience: 2+ years as a Full Stack Machine Learning Engineer or similar.
• Data Skills: Experience with unstructured data, NLP technologies, and big data.
• Frameworks: Proficiency with open-source ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, or Numpy).
• Advanced AI: Experience with foundation models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or RAG.
• Cloud: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of data management, warehousing, engineering, and governance.
• Intellectual curiosity and integrity.

Education Requirements

• Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Math, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Preferred: Master's Degree in Business, IT, Math, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related discipline.
