About the role
An AI Engineer II responsible for designing, building, and optimizing enterprise AI solutions to drive innovation across technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure AI architectures translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop and deploy AI models, LLM-powered applications, and RAG pipelines.
- Create evaluation frameworks to ensure high-quality outputs and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex AI system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
- Automate AI delivery pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Python, and PowerShell.
- Ensure solutions adhere to security, data governance, and Responsible AI standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and share knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in software, cloud, or AI/ML engineering, delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Proficiency in Python, AI/ML model development, APIs, and LLM/RAG solutions.
- Experience with Azure AI services, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC tools, and modern APIs.
- Understanding of AI evaluation, performance tuning, GPU environments, Linux, and frameworks like LangChain or Azure Prompt Flow.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
