About the role

Vatic is seeking an AI engineer with expertise in large foundational models. The role involves designing and developing cutting-edge frameworks, working on large-scale experiments, and contributing to the company's trading and research efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cutting-edge frameworks for innovative platforms and systems.
• Collaborate with a team of researchers and engineers to ensure compatibility with cloud platforms, ML frameworks, and modern model architectures.
• Run large-scale experiments and conduct in-depth model analysis.

Requirements

• Keen interest in foundational models, machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI.
• Advanced proficiency with Python in a Linux environment.
• Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI methods and technologies.
• Direct experience with multi-GPU model training.
• Demonstrable success in building high-performance software.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of software and algorithms.
• Familiarity with parallel computing models and frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for trading, research, and technology.
• Interest in using open-source technologies and prototypes.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in AI engineering or a related field.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is between $175,000 and $275,000. The base salary range does not include any other form of compensation, such as bonuses or benefits.
