AI Engineer

Golden Analytics is an AI-native BI platform built for data teams tired of the tradeoffs in today's tools: the depth of self-service analytics without the rigidity, the accessibility of a modern design tool, and AI that augments how analysts work instead of getting in the way.

About the role

As an AI Engineer, you'll own the AI functionality that makes a third-generation BI platform tick. You'll bring existing models into the product and build and fine-tune new ones to power an AI analyst that captures best practices for working with data. You'll build AI-native analysis, visualizations, and dashboards, AI-infused tools for modeling, data preparation, enrichment, and monitoring, and natural language interfaces for analytics.

There's no barrier between you and users here: you'll jump on customer calls, gather feedback, and translate it straight into what you build, and you'll ship fast, knowing the best code is the code that delivers customer value and that you can maintain.

Responsibilities

• Build and fine-tune models that act as the brain of an AI-native BI platform
• Integrate existing models into a fast-moving product
• Develop AI-native analysis, visualizations, and dashboards
• Create AI-infused tools for modeling, data preparation, enrichment, and monitoring
• Implement natural language interfaces for analytics
• Engage directly with customers to gather feedback and iterate on AI features

Requirements

• Strong development experience building customer-facing functionality on existing AI models and ML technologies (LLMs, vector databases, coding agents)
• Experience building new models and fine-tuning existing ones for new domains
• Full-stack development skills to integrate AI work into cloud-deployed, customer-facing applications using Vite, TypeScript, React, Postgres, Vercel, and Supabase
• Experience building software with coding agents
• Product thinking and comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration
• Passion for AI technology, awareness of its limits, and drive to push its boundaries
