AI Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an AI Engineer for a contract role with a client in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate has experience developing and optimizing AI-driven applications, intelligent workflows, and NLP solutions using modern AI frameworks and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance AI applications using Python, leveraging modern AI frameworks to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
• Design and implement AI pipelines using LangChain, supporting intelligent workflows, automation, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) capabilities.
• Build and manage knowledge graph solutions using LangGraph to improve data relationships, contextual understanding, and AI-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop AI features, and deliver innovative business solutions.
• Optimize AI models, workflows, and application performance to ensure scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, test, and deploy AI solutions while following software development best practices and supporting continuous improvements in AI capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4-6 years of experience in AI application development, machine learning, NLP, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python, LangChain, LangGraph, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience building AI-powered applications, knowledge graphs, and NLP solutions, with the ability to optimize scalable AI workflows and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay

$43.00 to $44.00 per hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
