AI Engineer

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a AI Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will shape how advanced AI capabilities are brought into real healthcare workflows and production systems. You will partner closely with product managers and technical teammates to turn business and customer problems into practical prototypes, technical specifications, and scalable solutions. The position blends hands-on software engineering with AI experimentation, application lifecycle ownership, and long-term maintainability in mind.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate systems in production environments
• Translate business and customer problems into prototypes and technical specifications
• Track AI capabilities and apply them for leverage
• Own the application lifecycle from discovery to monitoring
• Manage system design and long-term maintainability
• Create legible codebases and advance organizational tooling
• Collaborate with product managers on AI-native product vision

Qualifications

• 2+ years in software engineering or applied AI
• Experience with AI development tools in full-stack applications
• Ability to design AI-based solutions for real workflows
• Knowledge of cloud and frontier AI platforms
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field preferred

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
