About the role

Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS is seeking an AI Engineer based in Waltham to join the team in developing new, cutting‑edge AI and machine‑learning technology for the SOLIDWORKS family of products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop architecture for AI and machine‑learning applications.
• Apply machine‑learning expertise to CAD‑related problems to create future product and design workflow ideas.
• Collaborate with the Waltham team to deliver innovative AI/ML features across the SOLIDWORKS product line.

Requirements

• MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of professional experience.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge and keen interest in a variety of machine‑learning and artificial‑intelligence techniques.
• Prior experience designing architecture for ML/AI applications is preferred.
• Excellent understanding of design, CAD, machine‑learning and simulation technologies.
• Strong background and proficiency in mathematics.

Skills

• Development experience with modern technologies such as client‑server, web architecture, and cloud computing (a plus).
• Software development experience in one or more of: C, C++, JavaScript, Python, R, Matlab.

Pay

Total expected compensation range: $110,000 – $135,000 (base salary or annualized hourly equivalent) plus target bonus.
