About the Role
Salesforce is hiring AI Builders—early-career professionals with big ambition. As part of our first-of-its-kind AI Builder New Grad cohort, you'll be embedded directly with customer-facing teams, designing, developing, and deploying Agentic solutions for Fortune 500 companies. You'll deliver real-time customer impact from day one, working in a cross-functional "builder pod" to design, build, and deploy AI solutions for real customers.
AI Builder Experience
- AI-Powered Development: Develop real customer solutions using leading-edge AI tools like Cursor, Claude, and coding products such as Vibes.
- Dedicated Mentorship: Hands-on technical skill development, shadowing opportunities, and networking. Paired with an onboarding buddy and senior developers.
- Skill Acceleration: Develop technical depth and sales skills to lead high-level conversations with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI agents that take real actions for real companies—Agentforce is live in production for some of the biggest companies globally.
- Design Agent Intelligence: Create prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and architecture using AI/LLM technologies and the Agentforce platform.
- Support the entire technical lifecycle: Collaborate to architect, build, debug, and deploy scalable production systems using JavaScript, Python, and Apex.
- Drive strategic impact: Partner with clients to turn business challenges into agentic solutions using consultative skills.
- Iterate and deploy: Test, break, fix, and ship your work repeatedly—owning it from day one.
Requirements
- Strong background in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Fluency in React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Python, OOP, and real-time infrastructure.
- Ability to engage confidently with sales teams and customers.
- High-quality code writing and rigorous evaluation of AI outputs.
- Thrive in collaborative, action-oriented environments.
- Ready to grow faster here than anywhere else—your ideas carry weight from day one.
- Sharp problem-solving instincts, relentless initiative, and a get-things-done mentality.
- Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time to work directly with customers.

Pay
The typical base salary range for this position is $103,200 annually. In California, New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range is $112,800 per year. The range represents base salary only and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits.
