AI/Automation Engineer (Intern)

In the course of your internship or Co-op, you will be tasked with one or more mission-critical projects and make meaningful contributions to LiveRamp's success. About the Role

Internships are 12 weeks long. Should we want to extend you a full-time offer after you graduate, we ask that you would be willing to consider this at the end of your internship. Co-ops range between 12-24 weeks long. Should we want to extend you a full-time offer after you graduate, we ask that you would be willing to consider this at the end of your Co-op.

Responsibilities

• Build copilot/chatbot experiences in tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Glean
• Support the implementation of agentic AI workflows and browser-based automations alongside senior team members to automate multi-step business processes
• Help with prompt engineering, troubleshooting, and tuning of AI agents and responses for scoped problem areas, iterating based on real user feedback
• Create and update new automations using tools such as Okta Workflows, Workato, and Zapier
• Develop and troubleshoot Python scripts that integrate APIs and enterprise platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Workday, Salesforce, Freshservice) to connect and automate workflows
• Monitor workflow integrations, agents, and automations, helping identify issues, triage incidents, and suggest improvements within your area of responsibility
• Document your work (design decisions, runbooks, how-to guides) so other teams can safely adopt and extend AI and automation solutions

Requirements

• Strong experience leveraging APIs - the ability to integrate applications using APIs
• Proficient in Python
• Proven ability to technically design and present solutions to customer requests, including providing recommendations
• Adequate communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with technology workflows and automation tools or platforms
• Familiarity with development for technology projects
• Experience with AI development
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge such as GCP or AWS

Pay

The approximate annual base compensation range is $22 to $30/hr. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
