About the role

James Madison University Information Technology is hiring two AI & Automation Administrators to work within the AI, Collaboration, and Web Services team.

Responsibilities

• Handle administrative functions, technical functions, reporting, analysis, and user‑support activities for AI technologies and automation workflows used on campus.
• Manage and support the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and the nebulaONE AI Gateway platform.
• Provide extra support coverage for other platforms managed by the department such as Zoom, Cascade CMS, and the full Microsoft 365 suite of applications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience supporting larger software platforms such as Microsoft 365, Zoom, nebulaONE, and Cascade.
• Experience supporting advanced software and system components such as AI agents, workflows, and custom apps.
• Demonstrated technical ability to learn, configure, and troubleshoot software and systems.
• Demonstrated analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay

Salary range: $75,000 – $85,000 per year.
