AI Architect – Workday Transformation
Role Description
UST is seeking an AI Architect – Workday Transformation Architect II to lead the integration and design of AI, agentic systems, and automation solutions within the Workday practice. Key responsibilities include:
- Design and integrate Workday AI capabilities, including Workday Illuminate, Workday Extend, APIs, and ecosystem solutions.
- Conduct AI readiness assessments of Workday environments, business processes, and data landscapes.
- Configure and implement Workday-native AI features and automation capabilities within client engagements.
- Develop governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI standards for enterprise deployments.
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to create solution architectures, proposals, demos, and client presentations.
- Build reusable accelerators, frameworks, and delivery assets to improve implementation efficiency.
- Drive AI-enabled automation across consulting workflows, integrations, testing, tenant audits, and data migration activities.
- Establish architecture standards, best practices, reusable patterns, and reference designs for AI adoption.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to functional and technical teams.
What You Need
- 8+ years of Workday experience across HCM, Payroll, Time & Absence, Finance, or related modules.
- Strong expertise in Workday architecture, configuration, integrations, and solution design.
- Experience with AI technologies, LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG, context management, and AI governance concepts.
- Proven background in consulting, enterprise solution delivery, and stakeholder management.
- Experience conducting assessments and developing transformation roadmaps for clients.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused recommendations.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday Illuminate, Workday Extend, Workday APIs, and AI-enabled platform capabilities.
- Exposure to enterprise AI/ML solutions, intelligent automation, or multi-agent systems.
- Familiarity with Workday partner ecosystem solutions and emerging AI technologies.
- Experience developing accelerators, reusable frameworks, or innovation initiatives within a consulting environment.
- Relevant Workday certifications and AI-related certifications are preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below. Role Location: Remote-US Compensation Range: $120,000-$180,000
