AI Architect Lead

About the role

This role is essentially a Senior/Lead AI Solutions Architect focused on designing and governing enterprise-scale AI agent and GenAI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-scale AI agent and GenAI platforms using Python, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, Go, and other relevant backend technologies.
• Develop and integrate APIs, integration platforms, event-driven architectures, and workflow orchestration systems to support GenAI applications and AI agents.
• Design and implement orchestration frameworks, agent runtimes, workflow engines, and stateful task execution systems for efficient AI operation.
• Engage in prompt engineering, structured output design, and AI safety controls to ensure effective and safe AI system operation.
• Integrate enterprise collaboration and workflow platforms such as Slack, Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow, and Confluence to enhance AI platform functionality.
• Manage enterprise identity and access controls, including Okta, SCIM, SSO, RBAC, ABAC, secrets management, and governance controls, to ensure secure AI operations.
• Implement observability platforms like OpenTelemetry, monitoring frameworks, logging, tracing, metrics, and operational dashboards to monitor and improve AI system performance.
• Apply secure architecture practices, enterprise governance, data privacy, compliance, and operational reliability standards to ensure robust AI solutions.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, deployment automation, rollback strategies, and operational lifecycle management to streamline AI platform development and maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across architecture, engineering, AI Ops, governance, security, and business teams to drive AI platform design and implementation.

Requirements

• Strong experience in enterprise solution architecture, backend engineering, and distributed systems design.
• Expertise in Python, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, Go, or similar backend technologies.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI applications, AI agents, RAG workflows, tool-calling systems, and enterprise chatbot platforms.
• Strong understanding of LLM ecosystems including OpenAI, Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Databricks, or similar AI platforms.
• Experience designing orchestration frameworks, agent runtimes, workflow engines, and stateful task execution systems.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, structured outputs, guardrails, function calling, and AI safety controls.
• Experience integrating enterprise collaboration and workflow platforms such as Slack, Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow, and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of enterprise identity and access management including Okta, SCIM, SSO, RBAC, ABAC, secrets management, and governance controls.
• Experience with observability platforms, OpenTelemetry, monitoring frameworks, logging, tracing, metrics, and operational dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of secure architecture practices, enterprise governance, data privacy, compliance, and operational reliability.

• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills across architecture, engineering, AI Ops, governance, security, and business teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in backend engineering and solution architecture.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing AI and automation solutions.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and backend technologies.
• Deep understanding of AI platforms and ecosystems.
• Experience with enterprise collaboration and workflow platforms.
• Strong background in enterprise security and identity management.
• Knowledge of observability tools and practices.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
