About the Role

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a highly motivated and innovative AI Applications Administrator. This role is central to our digital transformation strategy, focusing on the end-to-end lifecycle management of applications built on Google AppSheet and the administration and development of intelligent agents within our Gemini Enterprise platform. The ideal candidate will be a technology enthusiast with a passion for empowering business users.

Responsibilities

  • AppSheet Application Management (50%)
    • Application Development & Lifecycle Management: Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and user-friendly AppSheet applications to meet diverse business needs.
    • Platform Governance: Establish and enforce governance policies, best practices, and standards for the AppSheet environment to ensure security, data integrity, and performance for our Citizen Led Development program.
    • Administration & Support: Manage the AppSheet tenant, including user access, data sources, application monitoring, and performance tuning. Provide expert-level support to citizen developers and end-users.
    • Integration: Connect AppSheet applications with various data sources (e.g., Looker, SQL databases, SAP, etc.) and integrate them with other enterprise systems using APIs.
    • User Enablement: Champion the adoption of AppSheet by training and mentoring citizen developers, fostering a culture of innovation and self-service automation.
  • Gemini Enterprise Agent Administration (50%)
    • Agent Configuration & Management: Design, configure, and maintain specialized agents within the Gemini Enterprise platform, connecting them to internal data sources like SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
    • Prompt Engineering & Optimization: Develop and refine prompts and instructions to guide agent behavior, ensuring they accurately interpret user requests and execute tasks effectively.
    • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor agent performance, accuracy, and usage. Analyze logs and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Use Case Identification: Collaborate with business departments to identify high-impact opportunities for automation and information retrieval using Gemini agents.
    • AI Governance & Security: Implement and maintain security protocols for AI agents, ensuring they adhere to company data policies and operate within defined ethical boundaries.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience developing and administering applications on a low-code platform (Google AppSheet strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on experience administering an enterprise AI platform, with Gemini Enterprise experience being a significant advantage.
  • Experience with API integration and connecting applications to enterprise data sources (e.g., SQL, SAP, Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with the concepts of large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and agentic workflows.

Skills

  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in Google AppSheet, including expressions, actions, and automation workflows.
    • Expertise in administering Gemini Enterprise, including agent configuration, prompt engineering, and connecting to enterprise tools.
    • Strong understanding of data modeling and database principles.
    • Basic knowledge of scripting or programming (e.g., Google Apps Script, Python) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • A collaborative mindset with a passion for enabling and empowering others.

Pay

The salary range for this position is estimated in good faith to be $80,000 - $150,000. The specific offer will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related considerations but will be within the stated range.
