AI Agentic AI engineers (W2 role)

About the role

Hybrid position (Dallas, Tampa, or Jersey City) with 3 days onsite per week; relocation okay. Joining a foundational AI engineering team (~3 engineers) to execute technical vision and build a high‑performing AI practice focused on enhancing a mature data platform with AI‑powered intelligence and automation.

Responsibilities

• Work on data ingestion, data quality, data catalog, and data transformation initiatives.
• Build solutions using existing data assets to increase value for stakeholders and clients.
• Make data more accessible and actionable.
• Execute technical vision and contribute to building a high‑performing AI practice.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong coding in Python and/or Java; SQL required.
• Experience with API development and integrations.
• Experience building scalable, production‑grade applications.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with Generative AI (LLMs, AI coding assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT/Codex).
• Experience developing production AI solutions.
• Experience designing and deploying agentic AI workflows, including agent orchestration, multi‑step workflows, autonomous task execution, and enterprise integrations.

Skills

• Preferred technologies: AWS Bedrock, Snowflake Cortex, LangChain, EC2.
• Azure AI experience acceptable if comparable cloud‑based AI skills are present.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (Kiro a plus, Claude‑based workflows highly desirable).
• Comfortable working in a primarily AWS and Snowflake‑centered ecosystem.
• Flexibility for candidates with relevant cloud AI experience beyond Bedrock/Cortex.
