AHMG Critical Care Medicine Physician Opportunity in Tampa

About the role

AdventHealth Tampa & AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) are looking for a dynamic and energetic Critical Care Medicine Physician to join their team at AdventHealth Tampa. This position is a result of programmatic and companywide growth throughout AdventHealth as they continue to support and establish high quality Critical Care services to their region in Tampa, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Work in Cardiac, Neurosurgery, Surgical and Medical ICU settings.
• Practice with AHMG Critical Care Specialists of Central Florida, a 100-plus employed provider intensive care team.
• Care for over 18,000 critically patients annually across 15 shifts per month.
• Participate in a growing ECMO and eCPR program.
• Manage a modern adult and pediatric-dedicated emergency room.
• Work within a 626-bed tertiary hospital with 59 ICU beds divided into three designated units.
• Be part of a network of 30 hospitals under AdventHealth.

Requirements

• Board certified/eligible in Critical Care Medicine.
• Experience or comfort working in Cardiac, Neurosurgery, Surgical and Medical ICU settings.
• Experience in mechanical circulatory support including ECMO management and cannulation is preferred.
• No State Income Tax.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Florida.
