What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with AGV navigation, control systems, and communication networks
- Collaborate with the Material Flow Equipment Engineer to optimize AGV routes, improve efficiency, and reduce downtime
- Conduct preventative maintenance (PM) activities, such as software updates, to ensure AGV reliability and performance
- Respond to AGV system alarms and errors, performing corrective maintenance and initial repairs as needed to minimize production impact
- Work with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and engineering, to resolve AGV-related issues and improve overall system performance
- Utilize advanced computer skills to access and analyze AGV system data, perform software updates, and configure system settings
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of experience working with AGV systems, material handling equipment, or similar technologies
- A strong technical background in electrical, mechanical, and software systems, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues
- Advanced computer skills, including experience with AGV system software, programming languages, and data analysis tools
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and maintenance manuals
Essential Physical Demands
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day
- Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs, including the ability to carry 20 lbs up and down stairs
- Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach
- Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours a day
- Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures
- Find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, or hearing
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: PAPR, safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
