What You'll Do

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with AGV navigation, control systems, and communication networks
  • Collaborate with the Material Flow Equipment Engineer to optimize AGV routes, improve efficiency, and reduce downtime
  • Conduct preventative maintenance (PM) activities, such as software updates, to ensure AGV reliability and performance
  • Respond to AGV system alarms and errors, performing corrective maintenance and initial repairs as needed to minimize production impact
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and engineering, to resolve AGV-related issues and improve overall system performance
  • Utilize advanced computer skills to access and analyze AGV system data, perform software updates, and configure system settings

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience working with AGV systems, material handling equipment, or similar technologies
  • A strong technical background in electrical, mechanical, and software systems, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues
  • Advanced computer skills, including experience with AGV system software, programming languages, and data analysis tools
  • Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and maintenance manuals

Essential Physical Demands

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day
  • Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs, including the ability to carry 20 lbs up and down stairs
  • Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach
  • Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours a day
  • Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures
  • Find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, or hearing
  • Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: PAPR, safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
