Agronomy Warehouse Specialist

About the role

In this position, the team member will manage warehouse operations, treat seed, weigh anhydrous tanks, promote teamwork, and maintain strong customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Know products in the warehouse, the system for managing the products, and how to pull orders
• Maintain warehouse equipment
• Treat seed according to customer specifications
• Operate the anhydrous delivery system efficiently, including weighing anhydrous nurse tanks
• Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner
• Promote teamwork by ensuring customers, vendors, and employees are responded to professionally and courteously
• Practice good housekeeping procedures to comply with company and OSHA policies
• Know and follow all company safety policies and procedures; perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (CDL Class A preferred; will assist with obtaining)
• Obtain a custom applicator license
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment, exposed to external elements and temperature extremes
• Ability to work extended hours
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, have full use of both arms and legs, and good finger dexterity
