Summary
We are seeking a Location Manager for our Alliance and Hemingford, Nebraska agronomy departments at Legacy Coop. The successful candidate will oversee operational activities, manage staff, resources, and inventory, and ensure efficient operations while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and safety compliance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Acts as key liaison between locations and upper management
- Sets hours of operation and daily schedules to meet customer needs
- Maintains budget and profit goals by tracking expenses and approving budgeting
- Sells and assists growers in achieving their goals
- Ensures proper inventory levels and accuracy, turning inventory on time
- Supervises employees, including interviewing, hiring, and development; planning, assigning, directing, and evaluating work; appraising performance; rewarding, coaching, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business or equivalent from a 4-year college or university, or 5 years of related experience
- Ability to read, interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively
- Mathematical and accounting skills, including calculating discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
- Reasoning ability to carry out instructions and solve problems
- Commercial Driver License-Class A with a tanker endorsement
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Benefits
